Succulents Over Roses

So it's Valentine's Day, and to my surprise and delight, Rob comes home with a big smile on his face and a surprise for me. It was this beautiful succulent garden orb filled with beautiful embellishments, and sitting on a modern wood frame, in the most ethereal manner.

I absolutely adore it. It is something that will live for a very long time (wishful thinking) and will continue to bring me joy, while roses only bring me temporary happiness.

Lucky doesn't even begin to describe how I feel to have found a man who will pick succulents over roses. Every single time.
